Most people have a Biomechanical assessment because they are experiencing pain within the lower limb.
This pain can be anywhere from the back down into the feet. You do not have to have a specific sports injury, it may just be pain which is present when walking or doing a specific movement.
We offer biomechanical assessments at our Podiatry clinics in Ayr or Troon. During the assessment we will evaluate the position of your feet, which enables us to prescribe and manufacture bespoke made to measure custom orthotics for your individual needs. Following an assessment, if custom orthotics are indicated we can take an impression of the feet by either using 3D scanning or foam box casting.
